"Reliable and Friendly Service" 105,000 mile Service conveniently scheduled for next day by phone call. Technician spotted oil on engine block and quickly brought it to Service Manager's attention. Service Manager researched Golden Rule's vehicle's service records and found that during a previous service the valve cover gaskets had been removed and replaced. Service Manager after close inspection observed that there was no fresh oil and concluded that the oil residue seen was from the previous gasket leak which had been repaired. However, just to make sure, the Service Manager authorized adding an indicator fluid to the oil system that would show up at the next oil service if there was a new leak. This kind of extra step saved me money and will effectively diagnose a problem without it getting out of hand if one exists. That is what I call "Reliable and Friendly Service.'
