I have waited over a year to write this review. After my husband's car broke down, The AAA tow truck driver suggested Golden Rule. They replaced our alternator for double to triple the price at other garages. Two weeks later, the battery was dead so we replaced it. Two more weeks later, it was dead again. We took the car back to Golden Rule where we were told we had another problem which would cost us another $1,000. The business would NOT give us a written estimate. They would only give us a verbal estimate. Thankfully a relative who was a life long mechanic, told us if we could start the car, we were being scammed. We got our car, got it started and took it to Sexions Tire in Covington where they fixed it by tightening the screws on the alternator that Golden Rule had not properly tightened. That car has been driven for over a year after that. Avoid Golden Rule at all costs. If looking for a great mechanic in the Covington area, I can highly recommend Sexions Tire. They are the best!
